Le livre devrait paraitre dans le commerce a la fin Janvier 2010. Le livre n'est malheureusement pas pour toutes les bourses, car prix initial est fixe a 150$ US, soit environ 100 Euros.

A noter au passage qu'il s'agit d'un livre qui est d'abord reserve aux scientifiques, donc si vous debutez en myrmecologie ou si vous n'etes pas a l'aise lorsque vous lisez de la biologie dans un article scientifique, n'achetez pas le livre, il ne vous conviendra pas (surtout a ce prix, vous serez decu). Et finallement, comme l'a dit Diacamma, le livre est en anglais (pas de traduction prevu a priori).

Le livre est diviser en quatre grandes parties et les differents chapitres et box ont ete realises par differents auteurs, experts dans leur domaine. Ce qui fait plaisir, c'est aussi de constater le caractere international du livre, avec de nombreuses nationalites representes (et les francais ne sont pas en reste), et chaque auteur represente une approche plus ou moins specifique de la myrmecologie.

Finalement, vous remarquerez que la derniere partie du livre est dediee aux especes invasives, ce qui prouve une fois de plus, l'importance et la preoccupation que represente les invasions biologiques au sein du monde scientifique et plus particulierement chez de nombreux myrmecologues.
